Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: August 22, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the acceptable use of Forreast services, including the Vizier platform, research reports, alerts, API access, and all related tools and outputs (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this AUP. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Services for:
- Internal strategic decision-making and research within your organization
- Reviewing and acting upon research reports and alerts for your own decision-making
- Integrating with internal systems via API within the limits of your subscription
- Sharing reports with authorized personnel within your organization
3. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, defamation, or incitement to violence
- Use outputs in a manner that incriminates you, Forreast, or any third party
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract proprietary algorithms, models, or methodologies
- Access, use, or attempt to access data or accounts belonging to other clients
- Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Services or outputs without written consent
- Use the Services to generate outputs for direct resale or as a competing product
- Attempt to overwhelm, disable, or disrupt the Services through excessive API calls, scraping, automated tools, or denial of service attacks
- Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code into the Services
- Share access credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Use the Services to make autonomous investment, trading, or operational decisions without human review — all outputs are advisory
4. Output Usage
All research reports, alerts, and analytical outputs are licensed for internal strategic purposes. You may:
- Quote excerpts in internal communications with attribution
- Reference findings in internal presentations
- Use the analysis to inform your own strategic decisions
You may not:
- Publish or publicly distribute reports without written consent
- Remove or alter attribution, watermarks, or copyright notices
- Present Forreast outputs as your own research or analysis
- Use outputs in legal proceedings without a separate agreement
5. Security Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and Vizier portal access
- You must enable multi-factor authentication when available
- You must notify Forreast within 24 hours of any suspected or actual unauthorized access
- You must not upload data containing regulated personal data (health records, biometric data, special category data under GDPR Art. 9) without prior written agreement
6. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- Suspension of access to the Services
- Termination of the subscription under the Terms of Service
- Legal action for damages or injunctive relief
Forreast reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required by law.
7. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP or suspected misuse of the Services, contact security@forreast.com or legal@forreast.com. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
8. Changes to This Policy
Forreast may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and notified to active clients by email at least 30 days in advance.
